Let’s bring the hope: PM Modi asks the nation to light candles, diyas, and torches at 9 pm for 9 minutes
Once again, PM Modi addressed the people of India on Thursday morning. PM has asked all the people to light candles, diyas, torches or flashlights of their mobile phones on April 5th at 9 pm for 9 minutes, to bring out the ray of hope in this severity where many people are feeling hopeless.
He has further requested the people to follow the norms of ‘Social Distancing.’ All the Indians are asked to light diyas or candles outside their doors and balconies to showcase the spirit of a warrior. He has urged the people to stay inside their houses and not gather in the streets or roads.
In addition to this, PM has requested the people to switch off the lights of the houses for these 9 minutes. This is the second time that the Prime Minister of India had asked his countrymen to show unity and strength. Earlier, PM asked the nation to applaud the people who are serving the country and its citizens, even in the middle of the global crisis.
PM Modi appreciated the citizens for cooperating with the “lockdown.” In the end, he has emphasized on the practice of social distancing and does not want it to breach.
