Legendary Bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal is no more

A legendary Bhajan singer ruling million of hearts in India and abroad, especially Bhajans of Goddess Mata Rani, having also sung for several movies including popular Bollywood song in blockbuster movie Bobby made by doyen of Mumbai Film Industry Raj Kapoor, popularly known as Bhajan Samrat having till now sung unaccounted number of religious songs, Narendra Chanchal, is no more sending shock waves in the country especially amongst his infinite number of Goddess Durga devotees.

Narendra Singh Chanchal was eighty years old and was suffering from critical illness for the last few months having been admitted in Apollo Hospital, Delhi for the last three days.

Even during Corona pandemic his popular Punjabi song ( Bhajan) appealing to Goddess Durga ” MAYYAJI KITHON AAYA CORONA” WON INFINITE ACCOLADES from his fans and devotees.

A prestigious film fare award recipient as a best playback singer on Bobby song ” BESHAK MANDIR MASJID’ which was a huge blockbuster, Narendra Singh Chanchal was a great Mata Bhakt, (Goddess devotee) whose demand was tremendous in India and even abroad.

He also sang for several other Bollywood movies with his another song appearing on screen in BOLLYWOOD MOVIE “BENAAM” Mai BENAAM ho Gaya, was also a super duper hit after “BOBBY” winning millions of hearts. In another box office hit movie “Avatar” Narendra Singh Chanchal gave his melodious voice to the first n original superstar Rajesh Khanna enthralling million of fans of his and Kaka. The song CHALO BULAWA AAYA HAI picturised on Kaka in Chanchal’s mesmerising voice as usual was also super duper hit.

His biography titled Midnight singer was also released highlighting his various facets and ups and down of his life as a legendary singer.

Highly influenced by his mother since childhood who used to sing Bhajans of Goddess Mata Rani Chanchal gradually generated immense interest as a devotee of Goddess diety and singer finally becoming popular globally.

He was considered to a high rated Bhajan Singer being booked quite in advance and was always in demand.

Narendra Chanchal was not keeping good health for the last several months with his condition becoming critical during the last three days. He was diabetic and suffered from severe kidney complications. He was admitted in Apollo Hospital where he breathed his last.
