Jan Prerna Samman to thirty outstanding contributors during Corona lockdown in Garhwal, Uttarakhand
The management of JAGO UTTARAKHAND NEWS PORTAL and newspaper today honoured several persons at Pauri, Garhwal Uttarakhand for their outstanding contributions to the society during the challenging Corona pademic times INSPIRING others, Second ” JAGO UTTARAKHAND JANPRERNA SAMMAN”.
About thirty persons working in different fields in Uttarakhand were felicitated with the Jago Uttarakhand Jan Prerna Samman.
Among the prominent recipients honoured for their outstanding contributions in the various fields were Ganesh Singh Garib, legendary evolutionary of CHAKBANDI, ( LAND CONSOLIDATION) Devki Bhandari from Gauchar for donating Rs. 10 lakhs in PM Cares Fund from the personal pocket, popular agriculturist in whose name documentary Modi Bagh was produced and chosen for prestigious OSCAR award Vidya Dutt Sharma etc.
Other recipients of this award were : Dr. Vidyadut Sharma, Kaljikhal, for outstanding inspiring contribution in agriculture and horticulture, teacher Sampoornanad Juyal, Lwalli, Pauri Garhwal for educating n desciplining the poor n wandering children of villages, poetess Dr. Ritu Singh for enriching the literature n culture of Uttarakhand, Sanklanand Nautiyal, principal for donating his salary during pandemic lockdown for educating poor students, Sarvesh Kukreti for selfless social service during lockdown, Dr. Narendra Kumar, district horticulture officer for encouraging horticulture, Vedpal Singh for Mushroom production encouraging economic self reliance, Shivani Gusain for promoting adventure tourism, Sunil Dutt Kothari of Dwarikhal for promoting and curing patients through Ayurveda free of cost, Raj Bharti Krishali, Assistant development officer for promoting Khadi and self employment, Mahendra Rana, teacher Inter college, Kinsaur , Sandhya Dabral, teacher Sunderkhal, Dr. Shiv Kumar Bharadwaj, Chandigaon, Jagmohan Dangi, for village n remote area journalism n social activism as well and others.
The chief guest of this felicitation function was Chief Development Officer Ashish Bhatgain and special guest of honour was Mahendra Rana, President of Block Pramukh Association of Uttarakhand and presently Block head of Dwarikhal.
