COVID-19, the talk of the town, or maybe it’s better to say the talk of the globe, has been fabricated with ample myths that are strung to it. All these misleading statements can be malignant sometimes. So here are the facts that will deflate the fallacies.
You are safe in hot and humid climate:
There is no such evidence that coronavirus cannot survive in the hot places. It has shown its existence in all geographical conditions.
Eggs and chicken spread the virus
scientists and doctors have not confirmed it yet that consuming eggs and chickens can spread the disease.
People in the snowy area cannot get affected:
This is another myth. Many cases have been reported in cold region as well.
Take a hot bath for prevention:
The inner body temperature remains the same regardless of taking hot showers.
Chinese products should be banned:
There is no evidence that it can spread through Chinese products.
Mosquitoes can spread COVID-19:
There is no such information that a mosquito bite can infect you with corona.
It is synthesized in the laboratory of Wuhan:
Rumors are coming from all directions that China has intentionally created the outbreak and had leaked it for destruction.
Hand dryers can destroy the virus:
There is no effect on the virus if you blow a hand dryer on the surface.
Ultraviolet Disinfection lamp can kill the virus:
People are using ultraviolet disinfection lamp to sterilize their hands. This can rather burn your hands instead of killing the virus.
Yoga is the cure:
There is no evidence that yoga can cure you though it can strengthen the immune system.
Thermal scanners can detect the virus:
Thermal scanners can only measure the temperature. High temperature is just one of the many symptoms that indicate the virus. They cannot detect the presence of the virus at all.
Bat/ Snake soup has started the virus:
It’s not been proven that they are spread through bats or snakes.
Cow Dung or cow urine is the cure:
Many people are spreading the false message that cow dung and cow’s urine is the cure of the virus.
