GOVT should give Rs 7500 to every migrant, slams it to have failed to fight Covid 19: Rahul Gandhi

The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has slammed the Modi government and said that it has completely failed in countering the pandemic Covid 19 as the cases have exponentially increased and spread at the pan India level rather than coming under control. Rahul Gandhi was addressing a press conference through his twitter handle and has also answered the questions of journalists as well.

Castigating the NDA govt for being incompetent in countering Covid 19 pandemic, Rahul Gandhi said that prime minister Narendra Modi had two months ago assured countrymen that his government will strongly counter the epidemic but after fifty days the virus has spread exponentially.

He said that his government has failed to fight Covid 19 desease despite extending the lockdown number of times.

Expressing his annoyance Rahul said that the government never gives any importance to the opposition parties obviously pointing towards Congress as one of the major party being sidelined and said that it has never consulted them ever. He, with due respect asked the prime minister Modi to reveal the strategy adopted by his government to fight the pandemic, to help and support the migrants and small businessman who are the worst sufferers.

We have almost crossed two months and the desease is increasing exponentially added Rahul. He added : I ask prime minister to explain us as to how will their government control this pandemic and help the poor migrants strategically. And also accquaint them about their strategy in this regard added Rahul Gandhi.

Criticizing the government for not standing with the states in fighting Covid 19 at this critical juncture, Rahul Gandhi said that he has received complaints from the CMs of the states that they have been left in the lurch by the centre. States are hamstruck as the national government is not supporting them compelling them to fight the desease alone he added. Terming the 4 stage lockdown as failure, Rahul Gandhi said that the tall claims about package are nothing but attempts to misguide the poor as it’s less than 1% of the GDP. He slammed the govt for giving KARZ to the small businessman and overburdening them further but not helping them by funding them the hard cash. He said the government should immediately give a cash amount of minimum Rs.7500 to each and every migrant than giving them false promises. Rahul Gandhi added that now it’s becoming extremely difficult to run the government without support.

The Congress governments are supporting farmers , migrants, giving cash etc but are not being supported by the centre”. In respond to the question of increasing incidents of skirmishes between India and Chinese soldiers and enhanced Chinese intrusion in Indian territories Rahul Gandhi said that there is no clear n transparent policy to deal with this crisis.

Let the Indian govt first deal with it I will then put my views on this crisis. Rahul said there is no clarity or transparency on the govt’s policy to deal with this crisis on Sino India relations n border dispute.

  1. A party who prefers to wash their hands off of all responsibilities in the most affected state crossing almost 55,000 and the financial capital crossing 32,000 has no business to preach others .
Besides the Congress party should make it stand clear on China rather than questioning the govt. Should the opposition not ask China & Nepal to shut up & protect the political boundries of India rather than play petty politics. Looks like Congress is keen to sit in the opposition for atleast next 20 years !
    Good luck dynasts : )
