DM Pauri office closed till 5th December due to Covid infection

The district magistrate office of Pauri Garhwal district in Uttarakhand has been closed for two days till 5th December, after one of its employee has been found infected with Covid 19.

The district magistrate office was closed for two days as the the DM Garbyal was also on leave. According to sources as soon as the district administration was informed about an employee of DM office having been detected of Covid 19, the sub divisional Officer of Pauri, Dr. S. K. Baranwal issued orders for closure of the office till 5th December to be opened on Monday as a precautionary measure.

The entire district magistrate office has been completely sanitised after the news of one of its employee being infected with Covid 19 was revealed fearing its further spread.

Those who had come in contact of the infected DM office employee have also been asked to get themselves tested as a precautionery measure including their families as well.

Meanwhile instructions have been issued to all the employees of the DM office n other connected offices to be careful and excercise precautions in future as well. It may be recalled that in Uttarakhand the total Covid 19 positive cases 76,275 with 1,263 mortalities.
