Covid 19 tally in Uttarakhand reaches to 7447 with 264 cases detected today

The Covid19 cases in Uttarakhand are on the surge on daily basis with the total tally reaching to 7447 numbers. For the last few days it has been observed that there is the surge of more than 200 cases daily except 199 yesterday. For the last three days there had been an increase of more than 250 cases daily with today’s contractions being 264. However, with total 3390 recoveries till date the total active cases have reduced to 2996 numbers. Till now the total covid 19 mortalities recorded are below hundred i.e. merely 83 numbers as compared to other states of the country numbering in thousands.

However, while there had been 264 detections of Covid 19 cases today the recovery jad been of 162 Corona patients whereas 3964 persons have been reported to be Covid 19 negative. As per the latest hralth bulletin released this evening till now out of the total testing 153471 people have been found negative in entire Uttarakhand ( where ever the testing to detect Covid 19 infected cases were performed).

Today 4134 persons were tested in different parts of Uttarakhand and the reports are expected in a day. The backlog of the test reports pertains to 8106 numbers still awaing test reports.

This is worrisome as delay in test reports may lead to the carriers if any further spreading the pandemic in the eventuality of anyone being tested positive out of these delayed test reports. Early results of the Covid 19 tests may help in exercising more precautions n safety measures than those facing delay test report.
