Uttarakhand is surging ahead in terms of Covid 19 cases with its total tally almost likely to cross ten thousand numbers with the current tally having reached 9402 numbers with 3283 active cases after total recoveries of 5963 patients till date. Currently, the total figure of Covid 19 fatalities has reached 117 whereas today’s recovery was of 232 patients. But what is most worrisome is the fact that in just one day till 8.00 PM there were 501 Covid 19 cases which is a horrific number as it has been the maximum single day detections during the last week.
However the recovery rate has gone higher with encouraging 63.42% as compared to earlier percentage not more than 58% at the most. According to the Uttarakhand government’s health bulletin released at 8 PM, 6206 samples were found negative and the results of 9275 samples is awaited whereas 4743 samples have been sent for testing.
