At no stage has India ever transgressed across LAC nor fired !

The stand off between India and China with regard to illegal LAC intervention at Eastern Ladakh by the notorious, deceitful n expansionist China is becoming more and more complex with the military and diplomatic negotiations between both the countries not arriving at any ray of hope till now.

The opportunist Chinese as usual, in the habit of breaching every peace agreement between both the countries, has yesterday come out again with a false, fabricated n concocted propaganda, accusing Indian Army soldiers of firing on the Chinese petrolling team in Shenpao mountain, near the South bank of Pangong TSO lake on Monday as per the tweet yesterday (Monday) quoting PLA Western Theatre Command spokesperson by its unreliable mouth piece Global Times.

Since then the Global Times twitter handle is loaded by several tweets falsely implicating India, especially after brave Indian Army’s ( SSF) “tit for tat” response to PLA’s 200 soldiers’ arbitrary attempt to capture Panging Tso lake area by not only forcibly thwarting their cowardice action by pushing them away but also successfully capturing the key mounain heights at Southern Pangong Lake raising India’s national flag high, with immense pride, thus giving the dragon ahuge rebuff.

After the frustrated Chinese spokesman’s several tweets on Global Times’ twitter handle blaming India for firing on the PLA’s petrolling team at the LAC, the Indian Press Information Bureau’s , defence wing while strongly denying the dragon’s false accusations issued a statement on September 8, Tuesday catagorically saying that the statement by the Western Theatre Command is an attempt to mislead their ( Chinese) domestic and international audience.

It unambiguosly said that ” At no stage has the Indian Army transgressed across the LAC or resorted to use any aggressive means, including firing.

The defence wing of PIB rather accused the PLA for blatantly violating agreements and carrying out aggressive manoeuvres, while the talks are in progress beween India n China at military, diplomatic and political levels.

Highlighting the case of 7th September 2020, the defence version adds that it was the PLA who were attempting to close in with one of our forward positions along the LAC and when dissuaded by own troops, PLA troops fired a few rounds in the air in an attempt to intimidate our troops.

However, despite the grave provocations our own troops exercised great restraint n behaved in a mature and responsible manner the defence wing’s statement added.

Rieterating India’s commitment for settling border differences n disputes through peaceful negotiations, the statement emphasised that while India believed in maintaining peace n tranquility, it will not allow a singe inch of Indian territory to be captured, resorting to actions meant to protect its national integrity and soveregnity, at all costs.
