Amitabh n Abishekh Bachchan tested Covid 19 positive. Admitted to Mumbai hospital
The super star of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan n his son Abhishek have been detected positive for Covid 19 and admitted to Nanawati hospital in Mumbai. Carrying behind a massive fan following in India n world wide Amitabh Bachchan has disclosed this worrisome news this evening in his Twitter handle confirming his being detected positive with the Corona while the results of his family are awaited. He has also requested all his friends n colleagues who had been in his close proximity or contact during the last ten days to get themselves tested as well. According to his tweet Amitabh Bachchan says: I have been tested Covid positive … Shifted to Hospital informing authorities… Family and staff undergone tests , results awaited. All those have been in close proximity with me in the last ten days are requested to please get themselves tested ! AMITABH’S HOUSE N THE locality has been sealed. Yesterday veteran film actress Rekha’s house had also been sealed as per the news.
However, there is no confirmation about any news of her being infected or not. Amitabh Bachchan is 77 years old and has several complications as well, but is very careful about his health who is still working in films and engaged in other assignments as well.
Amitabh had been confined to his house and everyone is shocked to hear about his being infected with Covid 19 despite his being indoors since day one of the inception of this disease n taking total precautions.
HOWEVER, Maharashtra n Mumbai metropolitan city is in the terrible grip of Corona virus infections. Those tested for Covid 19 in the family are Amitabh’s wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abishekh, wife Eishwarya Rai n her daughter n staff members of the house n his office etc including guards of his popular bungalow JALSA.
Meanwhile according to latest news Abishekh Bachchan has also tested positive. Abishekh too tweeted : Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for Covid 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities n our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to calm down n not to panic. Thank you. Both the father son duo have been admitted in Nanawati hospital situated at Vile Parle, Mumbai. It was reported that Amitabh Bachchan had complained of some chest congestion n problem in breathing. He was tested for Covid 19 n was confirmed positive. While Amitabh is symptomatic case of Corona virus infection, Abishekh was asymptomatic.
It may be recalled that Amitabh Bachchan n Ayushman Khurana’s recent film Gulabo Sitabo was released and did well earning appreciations from people all over the country. Amitabh was confined to JALSA since March 25 exercising tremendous precautions. He however did a promotional campaign by shooting a small clipping of Kaun Banega Crorepati , probably at his bungalow. The good news for Amitabh’s family is that the rest of the females viz Jaya, Aishwarya n Randhya Bachchan have been tested negative bringing a huge relief for Bachchan duo .
