Amit Shah tests positive for Covid 19. Admitted to Medanta hospital

The union home minister Amit Shah has been tested positive for Covid 19 and admitted in Medanta hospital in Gurugram, Haryana, for quarantine n subsequent treatment of this dreaded pandemic.

This was revealed by the home minister himself through a tweet in Hindi on Sunday. In his tweet, union minister Amit Shah wrote that after experiencing the early mild symptoms of Covid 19 I have been admitted to the hospital on the advice of the doctors, though I was in pretty good health. He advised all this friends n colleagues who’d met him recently to get themselves also checked for Covid 19 and if possible get isolated.

After the news about the union home minister having tested positive for Covid 19 went public there was quite a panic n flutter in the political n North Block official corridors as lots of bureaucrats, political dignitaries, MP, ministers n CMs usually meet him.

The union minister home had been quite active in convening several meetings related to Covid 19 n other important issues such as Ram Temple construction, law n order issues etc.

In the recent past Amit Shah has convened meetings in his North Block office twice pertaining to the formulation of anti Covid strategies with the union minister for health Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Delhi LG n CM, Anil Baijal n Arvind Kejrival, Director AIIMS Dr. Randeep , Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Health Minister Satyendra Jain, senior officials of Disaster management authorities etc.

He has also visited the Delhi’s first Covid hospital LNJP n deliberated with doctors n patients including the paramedics n also inaugurated the 10000 bedded biggest anti Covid hospital in Asia.

He had also enhanced the testings in Delhi thus playing a highly laudable role in controlling pandemic in Delhi along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival.

The prime minister of India, various central ministers, Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Assam CM Hemanta Biswas Sharma, Orissa CM Navin Patnaik, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee have tweeted wishing Amit Shah’s speedy recovery.
