Deputy CM Delhi Manish Sisodia tested positive for Covid 19

The deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has reported positive for Corona virus disease. He had a mild fever n got himself tested . The report came positive. After the report he went into seclusion. The deputy chief minister Sisodia informed about his being infected with Corona virus through a tweet in Hindi. Got myself tested for Covid 19 after feeling mild fever. I got tested for Covid 19 n the report came positive. I went into self isolation. I am perfectly fine having no fever or uneasiness. I shall be back to work after recovery due to your good wishes.

It may be recalled that the Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain had also tested positive for Covid 19 few months ago and was hospitalised in Rajiv Gandhi Hospital. However, after his health condition deteriorated he was shifted to the super speciality Max hospital where he stayed for nearly a month. Similarly probably two MLAs of Delhi are also infected n are under self isolation.

The union home minister Amit Shah was also in AIIMS twice after recovery from Medanta Hospital complaining of mild breathing problem, fatigue n body pain.

Delhi is currently witnessing a surge of more than 4 thousand cases on daily basis with 4,235 cases detected during the last twenty four hours.

The health minister of Delhi Satyendra Jain has said that the situation will stabilise after 10 to 15 days. He attributed to the enhanced cases of Covid 19 due to increased testings in the capital.

Delhi today has the total tally of 2.21 lakh cases with 4,744 fatalities. The total recovered cases have been 1.85 Lakh cases leaving the total active cases to 36 thousand cases.

The capital city has conducted around 44,884 Covid 19 tests in the last 24 hours of which 9859 were RTPCR/CBNNAT/TRU NAT TESTS and 35025 were rapid antigen tests.
