Sushant Singh was a generous actor who donated Rs 2.5 crores during Kerala n Nagaland floods in 2018
Bolloywood actor late Sushant Singh Rajput who had committed suicide few days ago by hanging in his Bandra house due to depression thus sending shock waves in Bollywood and amongst his millions of fans nationally, was a very kind hearted man n philanthropist, having special soft corner for the people in distress, never believing in seeking publicity for helping them.
According to the son of the former governor of Nagaland PB Acharya (from 2014 to 2019) , Charu Dutt who was his die hard fan n his family too, Sushant Singh Rajput had donated Rs. 1.25 crores in 2018 to the chief minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio by quietly coming to the corporate capital of Nagaland, Dimapur, and handing him the cheque.
The Nagaland government had appealed to the countrymen for financial help when the state of Nagaland was ravaged by heavy floods in 2018.
Similarly, in the year 2018 Sushant Singh was so moved by the plight of Kerala people suffering badly from Kerala floods that he personally n quietly delievered a cheque of 1.25 to the Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan who had highly lauded his contribution when flood ravaged people of Kerala in huge distress really needed all kind of help n support.
At the time of shocking demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh the Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has expressed his grief n deepest condolences.
The Kerala CM had tweeted : We are deeply saddened by the sad demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. His early demise is a great loss to the Indian film industry. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends n supporters.
We take a moment to remember his support during the time of Kerala floods. The son of the former governor of Nagaland PB Acharya from 2014 to 2019, namely Charu Dutt who was the late actor’s die hard fan including his wife as well, has posted a very touching and passionate post in his face book page lauding the philanthropic contribution during the Kerala and Nagaland floods by donating Rs. 2.5 crores to help the distressed people of these two states but had to commit suicide due to depression.
Charu Dutt has written while expressing his immense grief on Sushant’s untimely sad demise as following : The news of Sushant Singh’s death has plunged my family in a pall of sadness. All four of us were his huge fans. The Missus ( wife) has a special soft corner for him since his super hit Pavitra Rishta serial days. She would always say me : Charu, this boy will go very far. He will be the next SRK from TV. Just watch. He was getting there and now this. But one person who was genuinely gutted without having seen a single picture or serial of Sushant is my father PB Acharya, ( former Nagaland governor for 5 years) In 2018 the state of Nagaland was ravaged by floods and the government of the state has sought financial help.
Actor Sushant Singh was then shooting in Delhi. Generous n helpful sushant quitely came to Dimapur and handed over the cheque of Rs. 1.25 crores to the state CM without any fanfare or letting it revealed to anyone.
Charu’s father was grateful to the actor n goid human being for this kind gesture and had invited him to Dimapur. But due to the floods he could not make it in 2019. He is no more in our midst now, plunging my entire family in the pall of sadness added grief stricken Charu Dutt late actor’s friend and close well wisher.
