1391 cases of Covid 19 detected in a single day in Uttarakhand with total 438 mortalities
The situation of pandemic Covid 19 is assuming alarming proportion in Uttarakhand with the hilly state having witnessed a massive surge of 1391 cases in a single day taking the hilly state’s total tally to 34407 with total recovered Covid 19 patients being 23085 with remaining active cases to 10739 cases. Uttarakhand has been witnessing a surge of more than 700 to 1000 cases daily given an unambiguous impression that the spike in daily infections are enhancing day by day. This means that the compliance towards the pandemic regulations n precautionary measures such as maintaining a social n physical distance of two metres or six feet at the minimum, washing or sanitising hands regularly, wearing of masks or shields n avoiding moving out unless very essential including going for Covid 19 testings etc are not being strictly followed to nor is the government’s various enforcement agencies implementing aggressive anti Covid 19 regulations. The Covid 19 fatalities too has enhanced with the total number reaching to 438. However, the recovery rate in Uttarakhand has been static to 67.09 %. THE DUBLING RATE IN THE STATE HAS COME DOWN TO 21.44 days which is quite worrisome. In the last twenty four hours about 1008 Covid 19 patients have been cured.
