106 year old Covid 19 patient fights deadly disease who was witness to 2018 spanish flu

The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has heartily congratulated a 106 year old patient of deadly Covid 19 namely Mukhtar Ahmed for courageously fighting this dreaded pandemic which is claiming thousands of lives. 106 year old Mukhtar Ahmed was admitted in Rajiv Gandhi hospital and has recovered after some days of Covid 19 treatment.

Mukhtar Ahmed who was witness to 2018 deadly flu that has climed infinite number of lives in India as well as abroad has emphatically said that he would not have survived but to the dedication and excellent treatment rendered to him by the Rajiv Gandhi docters.

The jubilant chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejrival has tweeted heartily, congratulating 106 year old Mukhtar Ahmed saying that successful treatment n subsequent cure of 106 year old Mukhtar Ahmed Sahab is a heartily satisfactory and inspirational news and I congratulate him for his fullest recovery.

It may be recalled that Delhi has currently 1 lakh five thousand Covid 19 cases and 3165 deaths but what is encouraging is the fact that the recovery rate is about 65% which is quite satisfactory as till now about 74213 patients have recovered with majority of them being mild or asymptomatic Covid 19 patients quarantined in their respected homes.

Meanwhile, chief minister Arvind Kejrival has also congratulated n thanked Subhash Nagpal, an engineer by profession who has donated Plasma to save other patient’s life in Delhi’s Lungs and Billiary hospital by going there voluntarily n doing the needful as a mark of tributes n reverrence to his mother who alongwith her husband has succumbed to deadly Covid 19 a few days ago despite their treatment in expensive Appollo hospital. His entire family had tested positive for Covid 19 n were under treatment n quarantined for several days.
