Prime minister sanctions’ Rs 3 lakh for Kidney transplant of a Devprayag woman

Prime minister Narendra Modi has sanctioned Rs three lakhs from the PM discretionary relief fund on the request of the member of Parliament from Pauri Garhwal constituency Tirath Singh Rawat who had enclosed the request of the Devprayag Garhwal lawmaker Vinod Kandari for granting of the financial assistance to a Devprayag resident Seema Devi wife of Rakesh Singh Chouhan whose both the Kidneys had failed requiring immediate transplant to get a new lease of life. The severe patient of Nephrology suffering from the failure of both kidney function requires urgent transplant for which several lakh rupees were required. Seema Singh’s family hailing from a poor family living in Devprayag Garhwal approached the lawmaker Vinod Kandari who approached the area MP Tirath Singh Rawat. The MP wrote to the prime minister Narendra Modi explaining the plight of the woman battling for life for want of financial assistance required for kidney transplant. Prime minister Narendra Modi took due attention of the plight of the kidney patient and sanctioned Rs. Three lakhs from the prime minister’s discretionary relief fund thus coming to the aid of the distressed family. The family has expressed their gratitude to the PM, area MP Tirath Singh Rawat and Devprayag, Garhwal MLA Vinod Singh Kandari for their helpful gesture and acting swiftly to sanction Rs three lakhs for Seema Devi’s Kidney transplant.
