Don’t panic, Delhi govt is fully prepared to counter Covid 19 says Kejrival

Despite the horrific surge of more than one thousand cases with regard to contagious desease Covid 19 during the last two days after the spurt of 500 cases daily earlier, the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has urged Delhites not to panic as his government is fully competent and prepared to counter this deadly pandemic with its health department well equipped. Chief minister Arvind Kejrival was today addressing the virtual press conference. The Delhi CM said that the lock down can’t be done on permanent basis and we will have to strongly and with determination cope with the situation.

There is no need to panic or be under stress. Our government is fully capable and competent to counter this dreaded menace expeditiously.

Giving details about the Covid 19 patients under treatment in Delhi hospitals Kejrival said that out of total more than17 thousand patients only 2100 are under treatment in various government hospitals whereas rest of the patients with mild symptoms are seeking treatment in their homes being quaratined as well.

Kejriwal said that there are total 6500 beds in Delhi and 9500 more are being added in both government and private hospitals to cope with the latest situation considered to be complex and worrisome.

Several five star Hotels have also been asked to arrange Covid19 bed facilities in their hotels to ensure adequate treatment to the Corona infected patients with mild and severe symptoms. Chief minister Kejrival said that certain states like Maharahtra, Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar n Delhi are surging in Covid 19 cases which is indeed an aweful situation.

He assured Delhites that the Delhi government is fully n well equipped with all the medical arrangements to deal with the challenging situation in the days to come even if there is surge but said that the people should not panic, instead exercise restraint n precaution by maintaining adequate social distance, wearing masks, using sanitiser n regularly washing hands while reaching back home or offices including avoiding touching each other or objects to avoid or get rid of contagious infections.

While assuring Delhites of stringently fighting Covid 19 pandemic, Kejrival catagorically asserted that his government is four steps ahead of deadly coronavirus and will win over it in the near future.

It may be recalled that presently there are total 17386 cases out of which about 7, 846 have recovered with 398 deaths.
