CBI court acquits all the 32 accused of Babri Masjid demolition case after 28 years

In a historic decision the CBI court in Lucknow has today acquitted all the accused of Babri Mosque demolition after twenty eight years in its 2300 page judgement saying that the Babri Majid demotion was an act of some disgruntled n unscrupulous anti social elements committed in 1992 and was not a pre strategic or pre planned attempt but a spontaneous action of the frenzied mob. The judgement said all the evidences in the form of tape recorded or vedios etc submitted to the court, were tempered n doctored.

The leaders accused in the case had tried their level best to appeal to the protestors to exercise restraint repeatedly but of no avail. The verdict says that the BJP leaders had tried to protect the Ram Lala temple situated inside the Babri Mosque. There is prima faciely no involvement of these accused of committing the demolition of Babri Mosque n are therefore honourably acquitted.

It may be recalled that this twenty eight year old case has finally come to end after the acquittal of all the accused in this highly controversial case of Babri Masjid demolition in 1992 , the aftermath of which witnessed widespread riots including bomb blasts incidents in the country claiming several innocent lives.

Prominent amongst the senior BJP n VHP leaders acquitted are the former deputy prime minister Lal Krishna Advani, former union HRD minister Murli Manohar Joshi, former union minister Uma Bharti, MP Vinay Katiyar, Sadhvi Ritambara, former CM, UP Kalyan Singh etc. There were in all, thirty two accused in this case. Meanwhile security have been tightened in the capital and Ayodhya n various states of the country after the CBI court judgement.

However a day before Ayodhya was tranquil and in stoic silence anxiously awaiting for the Lucknow, CBI court’s verdict.
