Uttarakhand’s Covid 19 tally reaches 6328 numbers. Recovery rate comes down !

The Coronavirus pandemic in the hilly region of Uttarakhand has reached the total tally of 6328 cases with 3675 Covid 19 patients recovered leading to total 2549 active cases out of the total numbers. So far there had been 66 fatalities due to the pandemic with thirty eight patients having migrated out of the state. According to the latest bulletin what’s disturbing is the fact that the recovery rate has come down from 63 percent earlier to 58.7 percent.

IT HAS ALSO BEEN OBSERVED THAT THE COVID 19 INFECTIONS ARE SURGING DAY BY DAY with 224 cases of Corona virus infections having been detected on Monday taking the state’s total tally to 6328. While Uttarakhand witnessed 224 cases of Covid 19 today there have been recovery of 109 patients. Out of the total testings about 130531 persons tested were found negative of Covid 19 while 3349 persons were tested n their report is awaited in addition to 5398 pending reports.

During the day till evening 4026 tests were found negative. Out of the total samples tested, 4.85 percentage of cases were reported positive.

Though Uttarakhand as compared to other states like Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu n Delhi etc is quite low in terms of the total tally figure of Covid infections but being a small state n comparatively with low testings, delay in acknowledging test reports n complacent attitude towards the pandemic etc has resulted in the pandemic contractions enhancing day by day n in comparatively large numbers. This is indeed worrisome n needs to be tackled on war footing.
