Uttarakhand SSC to advertise for 2500 posts in the near future

The government of Uttarakhand is likely to advertise vacancies for 2500 posts in the hilly state in the near future giving a fresh opportunity to job seekers to apply for SSC examinations as per the announcement made by the chief minister of Uttarakhand today. The examinations would be computer based, online tests.

According to the DIPR tweet, the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has today inaugurated the online training vedio for the online examinations of Subordinate Services Selection Commission of Uttarakhand. He said that in order to bring transparency and flawlessness in the exams, the online examinations are the best alternatives.

The chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat held a meeting with the chairman and other senior officers of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission and said that the Uttarakhand SSC has during the last three and a half year filled 5700 posts and advertisements for about five thousands posts have been released during this period. He further added that advertisements of 250 vacant posts of Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Commission will be released shortly.

In the meeting the chief minister issued directives to the senior officers to make necessary arrangements for online examinations of the prospective candidates/ applicants. He also asked them to ensure that they are adequately accquainted about the necessary rules n regulations in this regard.

According to the chairman of Uttarakhand SSC the online examinations ( computer based) are being held for the very first time in Uttarakhand during the last two decades after it came into existence on 9 th November 2000. These online exams are commencing from 19th December, 2020 and all the applicants would be under the ambit of the CCTV cameras with every candidate having the separate question paper. In this training module, the instructions, before, during n after the tests including thirty questions related mock test vedio will be more or less like the actual exams.
