However the traumatic family is in favour of a judicial enquiry through the apex court in order to stringently punish the guilty of their daughter’s brutal rape n subsequent murder.

The recommendation for the CBI enquiry was made soon after the visit of the Priyanka n Rahul Gandhi to Hathras meeting the aggrieved family n the parents of the deceased girl, assuring them of all possible support saying that we will fight till the end, to seek justice for the grief stricken family whose daughter had died in Safdarjung hospital after being allegedly sexually assaulted and neck fractured by four criminals presently behind bars.

This decision of the chief minister, UP probably after the recommendation of the SIT brings end to the stand off between the Congress n ruling BJP for now but media reports reveal that the Bhabhi of the deceased Hathras girl was a not in favour of the CBI enquiry.
