The Covid 19 cases in Delhi may witness surge of 12 to 14 thousand cases daily during the winter n festive season.
The Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain has catagorically made it clear that the Corona cases during this winter and festive season may surge from 13 to 14 thousand cases on daily basis and the Covid 19 related specialist committee had already revealed that during the winters n festivals, the capital will witness spike in pandemic cases.
The Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain was today responding to the questions of mediamen.
While emphasising on practising Yoga and strictly exercising precautions to safeguard themselves from Covid 19, Satyendra Jain said n tweeted : Yoga has magical powers. I practised Yoga when I tested positive for Covid 19 to aid my breathing. The pandemic is not past us. So take proper, precautions and practise the three commandments. Social distancing, sanitizing and wearing the mask.
On the issue of three MCD mayor’s sitting on Dharna outside the house of the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival, he accused them of playing politics with the issue as they have nothing to do with the welfare of the MCD docters regarding non payment of salaries.
He said: the Delhi CM had asked me to resolve the issue and I’d send them a message at two PM to meet me but by four PM they hadn’t turned up which unambiguously means that they have nothing to do with the MCD doctors’ grievances but are merely politicking with the issue to derive vested political advantage.
They have enough funds to put up huge hoardings in Delhi to praise themselves but can’t pay the doctors’ salaries, the reason being, that they are just politicising the issue said Satyendra Jain.
He questioned that why does not the MCD seek salaries of doctors from the central government which allocates budget to all the municipalities of the country.
He even said that he is ready to approach the centre with the BJP leaders n mayors to centre to seek financial budget for the MCD.
The health minister accused MCD controlled by BJP of massive corruption saying that even while collecting the house tax in Delhi they allegedly pocket half of the budget but are not interested to generate funds for MCD.
In a tweet today the health minister Satyendra Jain wrote : Had called the mayor’s for all three MCDs but they haven’t showed up. Seems like they are only concerned with doing politics. MCD has funds for hoardings but they do not have funds to pay Doctors salaries tweeted Delhi Health minister.
The health minister said that Delhi has the doubling rate of seventy days but till the time anti Covid vaccine doesn’t arrive in the market, excercising strict precautions is the only alternative which we all should follow strictly. He disclosed that the Covid 19 fatality rate had been 0. 94 % during the last ten days n till date it is 1.77%.
