Terrorist carrying Rs 12 lakh bounty over his head gunned down in Kashmir

The Kashmir’s most wanted dreaded terrorist who was on the run for the last eight years, responsible for several killings n Hizbul Mujahiddin chief of strife torn Jammu and Kashmir, Riyaz Naikoo has been gunned down today by the Indian Army forces after a joint operation carried out in Pulwama district of Kashmir valley by security forces, para military troopers and the state police since Tuesday. This is the second successful operation of Indian Army after the most wanted killing of Hizbul Mujahiddin commander Burhan Vani in the year 2016.

According to the latest reports, the gunning down of Jammu n Kashmir Hizbul Mujahiddin Commander Riyaz Naikoo in Pulwama is being weighed as the great shot in the arm of Armed forces as the deceased hardened terrorist was on the run for the last eight years responsible for several killings in the Army, paramiliary forces n state police. An ideologue, terror recruiter and motivator of youths in Kashmir valley, deadly terrorist and Hizbul Muzahiddin chief of Kashmir Riyaz Naikoo killed by Indian armed forces carried a huge bounty of 12 lakhs over his head and was solely responsible for recruiting youths into his terrorist organisation’s fold in Kashmir valley and motivating them towards destabilising Kashmir n India by killing Indian army soldiers n officers and serving Pakistan’s hidden agenda of weakening India.

On the basis of reliable information given by intelligence sources that Riyaz Naikoo is likely to visit his native place, the armed forces, para military and local police personals cardoned off the targetted area in PuLwama since Tuesday and finally succeeded in gunning down this dreaded terrorist. This terrorist was using the social media to threaten the police as well as armymen and senior officers since long and was greatly instrumental in strengthening the Hizbul Muzahiddin network in entire Kashmir valley by enrolling good number of youths in the terror organisation leading to several killings and disturbing the peace of the state. Riyaz Naikoo’s gunning down after eight long years is being considered as the victory of armed forces. He took the charge of Hizbul Muzahiddin after Burhan Vani’s killing in 2016 and was highly educated.
