Singham Again Planned for Diwali 2024 | Shooting to Begin in July 2023

Rohit Shetty and his star actor Ajay Devgn are set to reunite for a third instalment in the Singham franchise named Singham Again. The film is set to star Deepika Padukone, who recently had a cameo in Shetty’s movie Cirkus and was the lead actress in Chennai Express. While the project is still in its pre-production stages and shooting is yet to begin, the creators have allegedly, decided upon a release date for the film. It is currently being reported that the Ajay Devgn – Deepika Padukone duo, which will be the star couple in Singham Again, will begin shooting somewhere in July of 2023. The filmmakers are currently trying to get the project done and ready for a Diwali 2024 release date.

Once Rohit Shetty’s film Cirkus was launched in December of 2022, he announced that Deepika Padukone would join his cop universe. He said everyone knows his next film will be Singham Again, a part of his cop universe. He is frequently asked if there will be a lady Singham in the franchise and when she will be starred. To this, he replied that now is when a lady Singham will be in a Singham movie.

Rohit Shetty also added to that statement by saying that Deepika is going to be the lady cop within his cop universe; hence they are going to be working together as early as next year.

Apart from Ajay, Ranveer Singh’s character Simmba And Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi are also planned to appear in the movie. Like any other cinematic universe, such as Marvel Universe, this, too, is an entire cop universe and is going to have cameos featuring other members within. Singham Again is no exception to this rule either. Like in Simmba, where both Ajay and Akshay were seen making cameo appearances, and also in Sooryavanshi, where characters of Ajay and Ranveer Singh made cameo appearances towards the end, Singham Again will also be featuring Akshay and Ranveer in cameo roles.
