Ruling party BJP faces the wrath of Youth Congress with regard to skyrocketing price rise of Petrol, Diesal and gas

Indian Youth Congress today protested against the rising prices of petrol and diesel oil outside the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

New Delhi, 20 January 2021: Indian Youth Congress today protested against the rising prices of petrol, diesel and gas outside the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas building near Shastri Bhawan.

Many activists took part in the protest. The youth Congress activists led by its president Srinivas marched from the Youth Congress office holding Coffins of dead motorcycle with garlends laid on it symbolising the skyrocketing petroleum n Diesal prices making them immobile n raising anti BJP n NDA government slogans.

Later on while addressing the protestors national president of Indian Youth Congress Srinivas B.V. said that even after a sharp fall in the prices of crude oil in the international market, the general public is not getting the benefit of it, in this era of Corona Pandemic where the general public is already disturbed by widespread economic recession and unemployment.

He added that the petrol and diesel prices have broken the backbone of the common men leading them to immense financial jeopardy surviving while confronting unaccounted hardships.

The prices of petroleum products in our neighbouring countries are much lower than in India, but the prices of petroleum products are still rising uncontrollably, in India added B.V Shrinivas.

Is this Prime Minister Modi’s promise of Acche Din the youth president asked the countrymen ? In today’s circumstances, the rising prices of petrol and diesel amounts to atrocities on the people of the country said Shrinivas.

Accusing the ruling party for encouraging and favouring crony capitalism, the youth Congress president said that the Prime Minister and his government are only concerned for few industralists, and have nothing to do with the common citizens of the country, compelling people coming to the conclusion that major policy decisions of the BJP government are anti-people and pro capitalists said Indian Youth Congress chief, Srinivas B.V. He further demanded that the Government of India should stop this injustice as soon as possible and reduce the prices of petrol and diesel with immediate effect and work for public interest, failing which the Indian Youth Congress will continue its protests from streets to parliament.

Indian Youth Congress National Incharge and AICC Jt. Secretary Sh. Krishna Allavaru ji, said that the rising petrol and diesel prices are a direct attack on the general public, it is very shameful that this government has not met any of its promises. We demand that the Prime Minister should stop this loot as soon as possible and give relief to the public.

Indian Youth Congress National General Secretary Bhaiya Pawar, National Media In-Charge Rahul Rao, National Secretary Bunty Shelke, and several Delhi Youth Congress workers were present in the protest.
