According to the letter send to Anil Baluni by the former Chairman of Tata Group of Industries, Ratan Tata in response to his request, he highly appreciated the genuine concern of Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni for the medical needs of the hill people and determination and assurance of his personal support to eastablish a world class cancer hospital in Uttarakhand.

Ratan Tata assured Baluni that he is forwarding the request of his to the CEO of Tata Trust Mr. N Shrinath for consideration and said that the latter will shortly be in touch with him to explore the possibilities in this regard.

Could he ever get such a treatment, advise, diagnosis or facility of high class surgery ?

He thought that if such high class treatment of cancer is accorded to a common man of Uttarakhand he or shewill not have to wander elsewhere. In order to resolve this complex issue I tried my best to communicate with the Tata Cancer Institute n Tata Trust in order to ensure the best, cheap and result oriented aithentic treatment to cancer patients of Uttarakhand.

Prior to my efforts the previous successive governments have also made their efforts to establish Cancer institute via Tata Trust in Uttarakhand. He expressed his optimism that after the establishment of a world class Tata Cancer hospital in Uttarakhand the patients of cancer hailing from the lowest ebb of the society would be able to get cheap, reliable and top class treatment of cancer instead of running from pillsr to posts and Tata Cancer Institute and Tata Trust is the name of reliability n transparency.

While extending his gratitude on behalf of Uttarakhand, to Ratan Tata, Baluni said that he himself had faced tremendous challenges and come out of this dreaded cancer defeating it finally. I wish every cancer patient is fully treated and comes back home recovered getting a new n fresh lease of life.
