Priyanka gives up shifting to Lucknow, May shift to Gurugram ?

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi seems to be in a fix at present regarding her new spacious accommodation as she’ll have to vacate her 35 Lodhi Estate spacious n luxurious Bungalow on 1st of August which was officially occupied by her since 1997. There is still a suspence over her new accommodation n the options are three viz Delhi, Gurugram n Lucknow.

According to some reliable sources she had earlier planned to shift to Lucknow permanently in her maternal aunt late Shiela Dikshit’s historic bungalow in order to remain busy in Uttar Pradesh and revive the party at the grass root level.

Moreover, being the General Secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi is extremely busy in Uttar Pradesh Congress affairs n taking up the peoples’ grievances enthusiastically.

She is also quite active in social media especially on Twitter countering BJP n UP CM Yogi Adityanath on every single issue pertaining to deteriorating law n order n the grievances of the migrants of Uttar Pradesh n the country during the lockdown in view of the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic.

Her active ness and enthusiasm in fighting the BJP politically on every matter in Uttar Pradesh has infact revitalised the Congress party in Uttar Pradesh which was earlier sort of defunct.

There were lot of news regarding her final decision to shift to Lucknow where the renovation work was reported to have started but the latest news suggests that she has changed her decision for now and would be shifting to her spacious private house in DLF apartment in Gurugram, where renovation work is in progress on a war footing.

It is believed that Priyanka Gandhi would be staying in her spacious DLF house for the time being and would later on shift to Delhi where a new spacious accommodation is being searched for.

Her mother being in 10 Janpath, official bungalow it would be difficult for Priyanka Gandhi to meet her at short notice who is not keeping good health usually, if she permanently shifts to Lucknow.

Moreover, her family n children having stayed in a prime location 10 Janpath n Lodhi Eastate would not be able to live in Lucknow or Gurugram permanently especially from the security point of view, therefore a new specious house is also being looked after on rent in New Delhi, reveal sources, where Priyanka may shift later on.

It may be recalled that Mrs Priyanka Gandhi had been living at 35 Lodhi Estate, New Delhi since 1997 when the bungalow was officially alloted to her as she was having Special Protection Group Security.

After the BJP government came in power her SPG security was withdrawn after thorough investigation by the concerned authorities ( Ministry of Home Affairs) etc about the existing threat perception.

Her SPG security was withdrawn and so was this 35 Lodhi Estate Bungalow entitled to her due to her being an SPG security holder.

After withdrawal of the SPG security she was simultaneously withdrawn the Lodhi Estate accommodation after the directorate of estates, Ministry of Urban development issued her the vacation notice with the marker rent penalty for more than three lakh rupees cleared by her via online.

This bungalow has now been allotted to a first time Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni, probably on medical ground as he’s not keeping good health n has few months ago returned back from Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital after recovery. The Congress party n it’s senior leaders had accused the BJP led NDA government of political vindictiveness by first withdrawing the SPG security n thereafter the 35 Lodhi Estate, Bungalow allotted to her in 1997.

Currently Priyanka Gandhi is having Z Plus security with CRPF police force looking after her security.
