Parents of Damini of Nazafgarh Delhi meet the CM, Uttarakhand, assured of all possible help

The Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has assured the anguished parents of Damini of Najafgarh, Delhi of every possible legal support n assistence in pursuing their case in the apex court after the three accused undergoing imprisonment in Tihar Jail had filed a review petition against the death penalty awarded by the Dwarka Court n upheld by the Delhi High Court. The case is under process in Supreme court after the capital punishment accorded to the gruesome culprits by the Dwarka fast track court n upheld by the Delhi High Court.

The father of the deceased gangraped girl,
by three human beasts, Kundan Singh n his wife had personally met the Uttarakhand CM and requested him for necessary help in the case to ensure death to the culprits of this horrendous act.

The Damini of Najafgarh merely twenty one years old was the only earning member of the family with her father earning meagrely as a loader on daily wages.

She was kidnapped in Delhi’s Najafgarh area near Qutab Vihar in outer district by three local hoodlums when she was returning home in 2012 about ten months before the brutal gangrape and murder of Damini of Vasant Vihar Delhi in a moving bus alongwith her two friends. The friends came home rushing n informed the parents about the kidnapping.

The culprits took her to Haryana n gangraped her and subsequently murdered inflicting 21 grievous wounds. The local police didn’t cooperated initially compelling the Uttarakhandies of Qutub Vihar n nearby areas protesting at the local police station.

The culprits of the Damini of Vasant Vihar, Delhi, the obnoxious gangrape n murder culprits have been hanged, but the culprits of Damini of Nazafgarg are still languishing in Tihar Jail having not been given capital punishment practically.

The distressed family’s financial condition is in doldrums with till date no ray of hope despite death sentence awarded to the culprits. The parents of the deceased girl originally hail from Nainidaanda, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat has thanked those who’d raised voice of dissent in Delhi ensuring capital punishment to the three human beasts and assured the family ( parents) about his governments total support n assistence to pursue the case to its logical end legally.

It may be recalled that the Uttarakhandies living in Delhi had demonstrated tremendous unity to demand death to the culprits by organising protest demonstrations, Dharnas and candle marches at Jantar Mantar and outside Dwarka Court for several months thus raising the issue in the media n finally leading to death sentence to the rapists cum murdurers.
