Narendra Singh Negi elevated as the wkg president of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha

The biggest social organisation of Garhwal, Uttarakhand in Delhi, Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha has its working president now, as the previous president Mohabbat Singh Rana expired a few days ago due to cardiac arrest.

The central executive body of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha convened to pay their respectful tributes to the previous president Rana at Garhwal Bhawan on Saturday elevated Narendra Singh Negi to the post of working President of GHS as per the provisions of the organisation’s constitution. Narendra Singh Negi was the current vice president of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha.

An MA in political science Narendra Singh Negi is quite a sober, dedicated and committed social activist associated with Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha for the last several years. He had also contested the parliament election from Pauri Garhwal constituency on Communist Party of India ticket.

A communist party of India activist, politically, he served in the CPI central office at Ajay Bhawan n its mouth piece MUKTI SANGHARSH N NEW AGE JOURNALS for the last several decades before becoming the elected vice president of GHS having worked in close proximity with communist stalwarts like C Rajeshwar Rao, comrade Vardhan, D Raja and Atul Kumar Anjan etc.

Vice president of GHS Narendra Singh Negi was elevated to the post of President as per the GHS constitutional norms, in order to carry forward various social n developmental works of Garhwal Bhawan n the organisation left half completed during the tenure of the previous president Mohabbat Singh Rana.

According to the general secretary of GHS Pawan Maithani the central executive of the Sabha paid their richest tributes to Ranaji and praised him for his untiring dedicated services to GHS while being the elected vice president n president of GHS.

The two year term of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha was however granted extention by the general house last year but got further extended due to the ongoing pandemic with the elections due in the near future.
