Man in Delhi murdered by son over drugs | Etrending News

A man in Delhi by the name of Suresh Kumar, a resident of Shakurpur Village, was found heavily injured in West Delhi’s Subhash Place after being victim to a quarrel gone awry with his son. The cause for this incident has been rooted down by the police as a quarrel between father and son when the father refused to give money for the illicit purchase of drugs.

The police had reached the location in Subhash place after they had received a complaint about a quarrel. Once they reached the spot, they found Suresh on the ground with multiple injuries and scratches, most noticeable among which was the constant bleeding from one of his ears. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but perished because the doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

The deputy commissioner of the police of Northwest Delhi, Usha Rangnani, said in a statement that during inquiries, it was discovered that the victim (Suresh) had a confrontation with his son (Ajay) over issues related to money. During the quarrel, Ajay assaulted his father when Suresh refused to give his son money to buy drugs. She closed the statement by saying that the accused (Ajay) had been arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Officially, a case has been registered under the IPC code 306, which constitutes murder, and the accused in this case has been arrested. More information will be revealed as the case progresses.
