LG’s orders will be fully implemented in Delhi : Kejrival

After being in self isolation for the last two days due to sore throat and mild fever, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is back to duty to thank and express his gratitude to Delhites for their good wishes n blessings for not testing Covid 19 positive.

Extremely concerned about the rising Coronavirus cases in Delhi likely to reach 5 lakh 32 thousand massive numbers till 31st July, chief minister of NCT Delhi Arvind Kejrival assured the people of the capital city n country that though AAP got a historic majority of 62 seats in the capital, the LG Anil Baijal has turned down the unanimous decision of Delhi govt passed by the Cabinet.

He said : The Delhi government will honour LG’s Anil Baijal’s decision and will in all earnestness be implemented because this is not the time to differ but to unitedly fight the dreaded contagion Covid 19.

Kejrival said that the media is also finding faults with our Corona APPs and blaming us for various shortcomings. We will definitely try to correct these mistakes. Showing extreme concern over the surging cases Kejrival appealed to other states to improve the condition of their hospitals n enhance the beds in order to robustly cope with the deteriorating situation.

He revealed that 1900 Covid 19 patients have been admitted in Delhi hospitals this week and about 4000 beds are still vacant.

Chief minister Arvind Kejrival was addresing the virtual press conference today. He said that though he was resting at his home but his mind and heart were with the people of Delhi as he was thinking about their treatments n necessary arrangements to be made in hospitals etc. He said : the Delhi government is facing a great challenge in terms of availability of beds in Delhi hospitals as the surge in cases is uncontrollable.

The Delhi government estimates unambiguously indicate that by June 15 there will be 44,000 cases, 1 lakh case by 30th June, 2.25 lakh cases by July 15 and 5.5 lakh patients by July 31st.

Kejriwal added that : It is a huge and unprecedented challenge and if the cases rise to such an umimaginable extent the requirement of beds will also be on enormous scale.

According to Chief minister Kejrival, by July 15, Delhi will need 35000 beds but if we add the numbers of patients from other states of the country in addition to the Delhi numbers , we will require 65 thousand beds. This is an enormous number he added.

By July 31st , we would be requiring 1 lakh 50 thousand beds. Chief minister Arvind Kejrival assured that he will himself go to the banquets, hotels n stadiums and would leave no stones unturned to arrange beds for the surging Covid 19 patients.

The chief minister Arvind Kejrival and Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia’s speculation of such massive numbers of Covid19 numbers in Delhi have infact send across threatening message of fear and apprehension. Delhi currently has over 31 thousand Covid 19 patients and nearly 900 deaths. About 12000 patients have recovered till now while out of remaining 19 thousand patients majority are in home quarantine with about 40% to 50% Covid 19 patients addmitted in the Delhi pvt n govt hospitals.
