Kejrival thanks minister Hardip Puri for changing masterplan of Delhi industries

The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has today thanked the union minister of Civil Aviation and Urban affairs and Employment Dr. Hardeep Singh Puri for accepting the proposal of Delhi government and issuing an important notification allowing only service and Hi Tech industries in Delhi instead of the manufacturing industries.

Speaking to ANI, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival said that in Delhi’s manufacturing industries such as steel, iron, plastic industries etc have led to hell of a pollution in the capital city, making the peoples’ lives disastrous but after the issuance of the notification, amending the masterplan, to change the definition of industrial activity in the capital from manufacturing industries to non polluting hi tech and service industries, in future Delhi will be devoid of pollution to a great extent. In a tweet Arvind Kejrival thanked union minister Hardip Puri writing : I thank@HardeepSPuri Ji for approving our proposal to amend master plan to change definition of industrial activity.

Earlier, manufacturing was permitted which led to pollution n filth. Now, only high tech n service industry will be permitted. Indl areas will become, neat, clean and green. Speaking to media Kejrival added that under the new amendment the manufacturing industries can also switch to service n hi tech industries expressing optimism that the existing industries will go for the shift in view of the degrading pollution in Delhi n NCR putting peoples’ lives in disarray.

While welcoming the union government’s new decision to amend the masterplan and disallowing manufacturing industries in Delhi n NCR leading to excessive pollution, Arvind Kejrival revealed that under the new masterplan the lawyers, media houses, chartered accountants, and anyone opting for opening non polluting hi tech n service industries which are smokeless the Industrial Zone will have a great sigh of relief becoming neat, clean and environmentally green.

He added that he had been personally conversing n meeting the union minister Hardip Puri and was behind him since long finally achieving this significant objective.
