Not many people are aware of this but the film “The Kashmir Files” is set to be re-released on January 19th. This film was previously the most popular movie of the year 2022. The official announcement was made by none other than Vivek Agnihotri, who went on twitter and made the announcement and news official. This essentially means that “The Kashmir Files” is the very first film to be released within theatres twice in the span of one year due to overwhelming success.
The announcement on twitter was phrased like this “Announcement: #TheKashmirFiles is re-releasing on 19th January – The Kashmiri Hindu Genocide Day. This has happened for the first time that a film has been released in cinema twice in the span of a year. If you missed watching it on big screen book your tickets now,”
Kashmiri Pandits annually observe “The Kashmir Hindu Genocide Day” to honor and commemorate the memories for fellow Kashmiri Pandits and other community members who were wrongly slain during a rise in the insurgency in the valley of Kashmir.
This masterpiece of a film which was produced by Pallavi Joshi and Abhishek Agarwal in partnership with Zee Studios, generated well over 245 crores in the first run according to Box Office India, thus making it a commercial success.
In a statement pertaining to the re-release of the film, producers Pallavi and Abhishek said in a shared statement that The Kashmir Files has accomplished what it set out to do, that being spreading the actual truth about the Kashmiri Hindu Genocide and the hardhips everyone, especially the Kashmiri Pandits had to endure in the aftermath. The film is being re-released on the cinema screens once more due to a massive surge in requests from thousands of people stating that they had missed out on a fantastic opportunity to view this piece of art in the cinema world the first time around. It was noted that the majority of requests were submitted by our country’s youth.
Further on, the statement said that if one missed out on this one of a kind experience, then here is a second chance to watch it again, in all its glory on the big screens with your friends, family and loved ones. This is certainly the beginning of a new chapter in the world of Indian Cinema.
In other news, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri was heard to be setting up for the shooting of “The Vaccine War”. As per latest reports, the shooting for the same has commenced and the targeted audience is already on the edges of their seats.
