I have lost an irreplaceable comrade n a faithful friend: Sonia Gandhi

The entire Congress party and the Gandhi family is genuinely in morning as they have lost not just a politician believing in Congress ideology but a member of the family whose association with the party and the family had been one of the closest always standing with the Gandhi family during the thick and thin not even thinking in dreams to betray them but instead standing rock solid with them come what may. I am talking about none other than U replaceable and most trusted soldier of Zcongresd n Gandhi Nehru family Ahmed Patel who breathed his last yesterday midnight at 3.30 AM in Medanta Hospital due to multi organ failure after being infected with dreaded Covid 19 undergoing treatment since October 31st. Congress president Sonia Gandhi while consoling the sad demise of Ahmed Patel said that he’ve lost a colleague whose entire life was dedicated to Congress. I have lost an irreplaceable comrade with rare qualities of generosity, commitment to duty n faithfulness.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted: we will miss him. It’s a Sad day as we’ve missed a pillar of Congress who lived n breathed Congress n stood by it during the most difficult times.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi tweeted while sending her deepest condolences to late leader’s son Faisal Patel saying Your father’s service and commitment to our party was immeasurable. We will miss him immensely. May his courage pass on to you and give you strength to face this tragedy.
