The collision course between the the protesting farmers and the Haryana police marching towards Delhi has compelled the union agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar urging the Punjab farmers to give up their protests and come to the negotiating table after two days to resolve the impasse through mutual negotiations than resorting to the confrontationist attitude.

Meanwhile the Uttar Pradesh Police, Haryana and Delhi police has also sealed the Singhu n Ghaziabad borders to ensure that the protesting farmers do not enter Delhi.
