An interesting poetry convention, ( Kavi Sammelan) was organised on 10 th January in Tasmia Academy under the auspices of BULANDI_ JAJBAAT E KALAM in which budding and renowned poets and writers from different parts of Uttarakhand presented their poetries amid cheers from literary audience.
The poetry session was anchored by a young poet Baadal Baajpuri whereas the convenor of the event was Maatrika Bahuguna.
Several poetries in Garhwali dialect were presented on this occassion highlighting the grievances of peasents, on Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, on satire of political leaders, on empowerment of women and on the theme of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao etc including poetries of VEER RAS.
WHILE POETESSES Surekha Thapliyal, Ritika Thapliyal impressed the audience by presenting the poetries of patriotism, the POETESSES Anjali Mishra and Puja Kothiyal read poetries on Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao ( save, educate the girl child) earning widespread acclaim.
The poet from Roorkie, Uttarakhand earned appreciation by reading poetries on Human passion while poet Bhaskar Chaturvedi entertained the audience by presenting his self authored poetry on women conciousness.
Apart from the above poets, other budding and known poets viz Rakesh Sharma, Abhishekh Mishra, Aditi Pal and Anil Joshi have also won accolades by their impressive poetries.
The first timer poets to have presented their self written poetries on stage were Divya Chand, Aditya Bahuguna, Deeksha Chouhan etc who’ve also earned the accolades from the audience.
The chief guest on this occasion was prominent social activist Dr. M. Farouque whereas veteran poetess Amardev Bahuguna, poetess, Beena Benjwal and Kavita Bisht were also present to grace the poetry session.
It may be recalled that Bulandi platform has till now organised over 6 poetry conventions giving opportunity to more than 200 budding poets of the regional dialects.
It is also credited for giving opportunity to budding writers and poets to present their creative poetries through this platform.
The founder of the literary organisation BULANDI- JAIBAAT- E- KALAM, BADAL BAAJPURI is fully dedicated to literature and is a credible name in the literary field of Uttarakhand.
Mr. Baadal is not only giving platform to budding writers of poetries and literature but is also providing them a credible platform to present their own poetries among the audience, eliciting cheers and acclaim in the society.
