The obnoxious incident of Betalghat in Kumaon Uttarakhand has shaken one and all. Such brutal incidents in Uttarakhand, land of Gods is beyond anybody’s expectation. An innocent adolescent girl have been sexually n physically assaulted, the trauma n pain beyond repair. It has send shock waves across Uttarakhand. The people are infuriated, anguished n the family badly traumatised. Unfortunately, the culprits of this brutal incident are still at large.
The tormented poor n hapless family is anxiously waiting for due justice. The zero tolerence, double engine ruling political dispensation and its custodians of law should leave no stone unturned to bring the culprits of this heinous crime to justice before it is too late. Our heart goes to the highly distressed family and the victim rape survivor.
We condemn this brutal incident in strongest possible terms and urge upon the powers that be to act fast and stringently against the human beasts and bring them to justice speedily n stringently inorder to send across a strong message of deterrent for law breakers as JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED.
Kindly recall that an adolescent girl of a poor family of Bethalghat was kidnapped by three youths and thrown in an unconscious state after allegedly raping her. The victim has recognised two culprits out of three and an FIR has been registered aganst the culprits under strict sections of law. However, the culprits are still at large with the police trying its best to nab the cuprits.
The people of Betalghat are badly infuriated n angered demanding immediate arrest of the culprits of this brutal crime. Various political parties like AAP n Congress are accusing the ruling party of incessant surge in crime graph in the state with double engine government failing in safeguarding the modesty and dignity of vulnerable women with even adolescent girl not safe in the land of abode of Gods called DEVBHOOMI.
The culprits have not been caught even after five days allegedly giving credence to the allegations of Aam Admi Party of the police negligence and delay in the matter despite so much of media hype and protests by the local inhabitants.
A social activist Surendra Halsi has appealed to the chief minister of Uttarakhand to kindly intervene in this traumatic incident and ensure that the culprits are brought behind bars with stringent punishment.
He is thinking of knocking the doors of honourable high court of Uttarakhand for ensuring early n expeditious relief to the anguished family.
This brutal incident of an alleged gangrape of an adolescent girl in Betalghat, Uttarakhand raises several questions on the ” BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO” slogans of the double engine sarkar, charge the furious opposition political party activists of Uttarakhand.
