Arvind Negi of 5th Garhwal Rifles’ is no more, RIP

There is yet another shocking news from the land of Abode of Gods, Uttarakhand with regard to the sad demise of a braveheart of Garhwal Rifles’ posted in Assam while on duty but due to his critical health condition after he was grievously injured during a game.

According to Army sources unfortunately his condition deteriorated further during the treatment in the hospital probably due to an inner severe injury taking a critical turn later on.

According to the Army sources he could not be saved despite being rendered the best possible treatment.

Deputed in Assam belonging to 5th Battalion of Garhwal Rifles’ Arvind Negi hailed from Ushaada village in Tungnath valley of Rudraprayag, Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

Son of Balbir Singh Negi, Arvind Negi was a promising young soldier with keen interest in sports as well. He joined Garhwal Rifles’ in the year 2010 and was currently posted in Tamulpur, Assam.

According to Garhwal Rifles’ sources he was severely injured while participating in games and had been under treatment in hospital but shockingly succumbed to injuries later on as per the confirmation of the Army authorities.

The family have been informed and his dead body would be handed over to his anguished parents in village Ushaada in Tungnath Valley of Rudraprayag on December 22.

Entire Tungnath valley is grief stricken after receiving the shocking news of Arvind Negi’s tragic demise. Arvind was merely 29 years old who left behind his parents, wife and son of 1 n a half year. May his soul rest in peace. OM SHANTI
