Actor Faraaz Khan suffering from severe lungs infection request’s for financial aid of Rs 25 lakhs

The glamorous world of Bollywood is indeed lucky for some while unlucky for many. There are rags to riches story for some while for many it fetches bad luck who after being in limelight with lot of money at times go into oblivion lateron with even not able to seek treatment to survive during critical illnesses.

There have been umpteen instances of this sort when funds are raised for such unlucky actors during their old days when they run short of funds even to survive or for medical treatments.

I vividly remember one such instance of a one time tall and handsome actor Satish Kaul having acted in several movies as hero n in other important roles, who was admitted in a hospital in Punjab during his old days literally penniless, not able to arrange for his treatment.

Frail and bearded, old Satish Kaul admitted in a government hospital was noticed when one of his admirer posted his picture in social media highlighting his plight a year ago enticing some of the Bollywood stars to come to his aid.

A similar incident of a one time Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan lying in Vikram Hospital of Bangaluru with fifty percent chances of survival has come to the notice of the Mumbai film industry with actors like Pooja Bhatt coming to the forefront in social media requesting the fellow actors to donate generously in order to arrange a medical expense of Rs twenty five lakhs required in the treatment of the severely ailing merely 47 year old actor who is the son of Yousuf Khan who’d acted in around thirty five movies with superstars like Amitabh Bachchan n Parveen Babi etc in Amar Akbar Anthony n many other movies during eighties, having died in 1985.

According to the latest news reports Faraaz Khan on Life Support in Vikram hospital in Bangaluru with fifty percent chances of sirvival having severe infection in the lungs. He has been on ventilator for the past five days & as per doctors, there are 50 % chances of his survival.

He had acted in some popular Bollywood films in the late 1990 s & early 2000s such as Fareb & Mehandi. A tall and handsome familier face of several Bollywood films about twenty years ago, few people might have knowledge that he was signed for a debut #lead #role in the 1989 musical-romance big budget movie ” Maine Pyar Kiya” but couldn’t join the shooting due to his serious illness thereby being unluckily replaced by Salman Khan, lateron becoming a blockbustre movie.

A highly talented actor with a handsome appearence Farhaaz despite being a known actor during the nineties n thereafter in bollywood was at present leading a simple life, earning his living doing a job, enjoying weekends with family but unfortunately, all of a sudden suffering from severe lungs infection, lying in a private Bengaluru hospital on ventilator, requiring exorbitant treatment expenses to the tune of Rs 25 which are beyond his reach to bear.

His brother Farhaan Khan has endeavoured to raise funding by appealing to his co stars & former bollywood colleagues requesting one and all to come to his brother’s rescue in this critical juncture in order to save his precious life. According to the latest reports about Rs.
₹ 8,35,457 have been raised out of the total required medical expenses of ₹ 25,00,000. About 488 Donors have come forward in 1 day.

Pooja Bhatt actress was the first to come out in support of Faraaz Khan and tweeted appealing to fellow Bollywood actors as below : Please share and contribute if possible. I am. Would be grateful if any of you can as well.
