The confidence personified Jai Bhatia is all set to make his presence felt in tinsel town after he got a huge opportunity to work with
Amitabh Bachchan in an advertisement of a known Jewellary brand. His work with Amitabh Bachchan in an ad film was noticed by many, many people.
“I have never thought even in my dreams that I would get a chance to work with Mr Bachchan, who has inspired and impressed several generations of Indians thanks to his class as an actor”, says Jai Bhatia. He has done ad for Kalyan Jewellers with Amitabh Bachchan.
“When I saw Mr. Bachchan on set, I was really impressed with his discipline, energy and enthusiasm for his work. It was great learning experience to work with him,”says Jai Bhatia, who is likely to do a web show on Ott platform with the producers of critically acclaimed movie Andhadhun,
An alumnus of capital’s Modern School, Vasant Vihar,Jai went to Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute for acting course in New York.
Ranbeer Kapoor is also a product of this great institute. Says Jai, “ Acting is my chosen path. I made a decision to make career in acting while I was in 10th class in my school. I was very active in theatre in my school,”adding,“My family supported my decision fully. They know that I am a very committed guy towards my profession.”
“ I must tell you that it was great learning experience to be at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Those who are looking to become an actor and are short of experience, joining Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute should be a great learning experience. There you can learn various facets of acting by great teachers. Moreover, there are many different types of acting classes out there, some more important than others,” says Jai about his alma mater.
Fitness freak,Jai is of the opinion that an actor has to take lot of care of his or her body. The fit actors like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan have proved that even public like actors with robust physique.
Jai too spends lot of time in his gym as he says, “ I feel that physically fit actorcan play diverse and interesting characters. Therefore, one thing is clearthat in order to be very accomplished actor, you have to be as fit as you can possibly be.” feels Jai, who is now looking forward to work with Amitabh Bachchan in a film.
He feels that Mr Amitabh must be taking lot care of himself. That is why he is so fit and agile even at this age.
“As a young guy Amitabh sir has became my inspiration and I am very confident he leads a very healthy life.”
Covid-19 has changed our life greatly and Bollywood has been really hit hard by the pandemic. As that was not enough, the shocking demise of actors like Irrfan khan and Rishi Kapoor and mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput has further damaged the spirits of Bollywood.
Jai says that this is really very challenging time and hopefully this dark time would pass sooner rather than later. An avid fan of Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Irrfan Khan to Balraj Sahni , Jai hopes to play a very long innings in Bollywood.
