AAP demands setting up of Covid 19 testing facility at tehsil n BLKs of each district of Garhwal, Uttarakhand for aspiring candidates of Garhwal Rifles

The Aam Admi Party in Uttarakhand has reservations about the health department of Uttarakhand blaming it for becoming a bottleneck in the process of employment of aspiring youths in Garhwal Rifles’.

Speaking to etrending news, the spokesman of Uttarakhand AAP, Ashutosh Negi while narrating the plight of the aspiring youths interested to seek employment in Garhwal Rifles’ to serve the nation said that while the youths of Uttarakhand have their first priority of seeking employment in Garhwal Rifles’ to serve the country – unfortunately, the complex and tidy Covid 19 testing condition n process even during the employment process is working as a deterrent.

Revealing about the plight of the job seekers in GARHWAL RIFLES, Ashutosh Negi revealed that the aspirants from Tehri, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Haridwar and Dehradun districts have to reach Kotdwar from 20th to 2nd January, but the biggest impediment is that showing of Covid 19 negative report is mandatory, (though it’s definitely a relevant condition) but the real problem at the ground level is that in distant interior villages there are literary no arrangements for Covid 19 testing nor are doctors and necessary staff available said Ashutosh Negi.

He added that though certificate of negative Covid 19 issued by any MBBS doctor have been approved by the state government but in the interior villages there is great scarcity of these doctors n even if they are available they either refuse to conduct Covid 19 tests or have no arrangements to do so resulting in tremendous hardships n difficulties for the aspiring job seekers to bring the Covid 19 negative report after necessary RTPCR testing etc. In addition even if they are tested the results take lot of days to come.

AAP spokesperson Ashutosh Negi demanded that the state government should establish special Covid 19 testing desks at the block and districts to ensure convenient Covid 19 testing facilities at the decentralised levels ( block n tehsils) in all the 7 districts of Garhwal Mandal with instructions to give the testing report within a specified time limit at the earliest to the Garhwal Rifles’ aspirants so as to enable them reach Kotdwar within a specified time limit to participate in Garhwal Rifles’ employment process.

It may be recalled that about 46000 unemployed youths have applied in Garhwal Rifles’ to seek employment to serve the nation with valour, commitment n patriotism.

According to Negi, Garhwal Rifles’ have been a biggest source of employment to the aspiring youths of Uttarakhand whose track record consists of valiant contribution in wars and strife torn states including at our most sensitive borders on LAC n LOC, many of them sacrificing their precious lives in the line of duty.

If these confused and complex Covid 19 conditionalities prove to be a deterrent on their way to seek employment in Garhwal Rifles’ then this will immensely demoralise hundreds of job seekers who are eagerly waiting to serve the country via Garhwal Rifles’ with valour and immense courage n patriotism.

AAP spokesperson Negi appealed to the member of parliaments n lawmakers of the state assembly representing Garhwal and Kumaon regions of Uttarakhand to come forward to ensure immediate establishment of Covid 19 testing facility oriented desks at blocks n tehsil of all the districts of Uttarakhand with instructions of delivery early testing reports to the aspiring job seekers in Garhwal Rifles’.

This would be a great service to humanity and the aspiring youths interested to serve the nation by being enrolled in Garhwal Rifles’ in the near future.
