Former union minister n Sr RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh dies in AIIMS Delhi

During the unprecedented n diffcult times of ongoing pandemic the unfortunate news mortalites have become an order of the day, especially of senior citzens, majorty of them being the comorbidity cases already suffering from various ailments like cardiac n kidney related ailments n diabeties, being an extremely common phenomena.

The former union minister aged 74 , Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, a one time close confidante of the then chief minister of Bihar n RJD leader Lalu Prasad currently jailed, has breathed his last at All India Institute of Medical Sciences after suffering from protracted illness.

Having resigned from the RJD recently, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh who was counted amongst the blotless n honest politicians of Bihar , was earlier suffering from Corona but was cured in AIIMS Patna. However, due to the age factor n suffering from protracted illness he was admitted AIIMS Delhi.

Former union Agriculture minister n lawmaker from Bihar, several times n once energy minister, a seasoned socialist leader having actively participated in JP movement a opposing emergency era n jailed, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh had recently left RJD while being its national vice president after he was annoyed with the RJP’s functioning led by Lalu’s son.

The founder of RJD Lalu Prasad Yadav was shocked to learn about his political colleague, Singh’s sad demise n became extremely emotional.

While paying his respectful homage to the departed soul, Lalu Yadav, emotionally heart broken tweeted : Dear Raghuvansh Babu : What have you done this ?

I had told you just a day after that you are not going anywhere. But you have gone so far.

Am speechless ! anguished ! Will remember you infinitely.

A true leader of the masses, connected to the grass roots, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was extremely popular in Bihar, termed as the grass root leader of the poor n down troddens who’d served the masses through Manregna n Nrega n also constructing roads connecting majority of the villages to towns n cities.

Having good relations with all the political leaders across ideological affiliations, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was revered by one n all.

Even prime minister Narendra Modi telephonically contacted him to know about his health n well being assuring of all possible help. The CM Bihar too had lauded him publicly in several socio political meetings.
