35 year old jurno Vikram Joshi shot dead in Vijay Nagar in Ghaziabad UP

A courageous young journalist Vikram Joshi who was shot from point blank range yesterday in front of his two adolescent daughters by a group of ten goons in Ghaziabad today met his tragic end in a private hospital where he was on ventilator in critical condition.

The bullet pumped into his head by one Chotu yesterday out of revenge as Vikas has objected to the group of ten miscreants eve teasing his neice n also creating havoc in the Vijay Nagar locality by their illegal acts like gambling, threatening him n his family n the residents.

There is a shock wave all around, especially in the journalistic fraternity. The gunning down of a journalist by unknown criminals in Vijay Nagar Ghaziabad despite his lodging a complaint with the local police of life threat n eveteasing of his niece n police taking it extremely lightly with not even lodging the FIR n arresting these murderers, has fully exposed the complacent attitude of the local police allegedly in league with criminals in Ghaziabad.

It was only after the intervention of the Ghaziabad SSP Kalanidhi Naithani that the CO was suspended and all the nine, (one absconding) criminals have been arrested n put in jail. Thanks to him for his instant action.

According to the news reports deceased Vikram Joshi worked in a local newspaper in Ghaziabad n was yesterday evening riding on a motorcycle with his two daughters aged 10 n three years. He was all of a sudden physically attacked by a group of goons at 10.30 in front of the helpless daughters crying for help.

The shootout was captured in a CCTV footage acquired by the police during investigation of the case. LATE Joshi was attacked while he was returning home after meeting his sister with two daughters yesterday night.

According to the SSP Kalanidhi Naithani about nine culprits had been arrested yesterday night while one is absconding. According to the news reports on 16th of July there was a fight between these criminals n Joshi n his family who had objected to their gambling near Joshi’s house vitiating the atmosphere.

One Ravi got his eye n jaw injured n was hospitalised as per news reports . While in hospital he contacted other accomplices and a group of criminals avenged by attacking on Joshi yesterday night with one of them Chotu shooting him on head from a close range. On July 16 these criminals had also harrased Joshi’s niece.

After Joshi’s admission in Yashoda hospital he was kept on ventilator but he breathed his last today early morning. The entire social media is full of news of journalist Joshi’s murder thus exposing the deteriorating law n order situation of Uttar Pradesh where common people n even journalists are not safe.
