Aayushman Khurana officially announced the release of his most anticipated film this year, dream girl 2, in an exciting way, to say the very least. The film itself is said to release on July the 7th, and the makers of the film proceeded to upload a funny video to tease the release date, which showed the main character Pooja, a.k.a Ayushmann, in a backless sequined multi-coloured blouse.
Same as the prequel, dream girl 2 is also set to feature Ayushmann Khurrana playing a double role within the film, those being of Karam as well as the popular character of Pooja. Even though the recent teaser only shows slight glimpses of him being dressed up as a lady, it also features him having a conversation with Pathan.
Other than that, the popular song from the first part, ‘dil ka telephone’, can be heard in the video’s background.
The production team for the film has certainly taken quite an interesting route to work on the film’s campaign and to register its release date, that being ‘#7koSaathMein’. Aayushman also proceeded to share the video clip of his film trailer on his social media handle last night.
Dream girl 2, reduced by Balaji Telefilms, happens to be the sequel to the already extremely successful film dream girl, which was released in the year 2019. The first instalment in the series was welcomed with open arms by the audience for its interesting storyline and Ayushmann’s Stellar performance.
The premise of the first film was that Ayushmann was a man who could easily make the voice of a woman and worked in a call centre to earn some money.
This concept was so interestingly unique that it was immediately accepted and loved by the audience.
